FAQs

“Kelly’s Art & Mindfulness sessions have taught me about how doing art can be centering, calming, and healing. She helped me through some difficult days and now I’m able to turn to art when my head is spinning.”

I’m not an artist. Can I still participate?

Of course! We are all creative and there is no right or wrong way to do the art tasks.

Are the sessions recorded in case I miss one?

To protect the privacy of all the participants, the sessions are not recorded. However, a follow up email from each session is provided.

Do you take insurance?

Mindful Art Center does not accept insurance. All services can be registered for and purchased through the website with many payment options.

What kind of art supplies do I need?

You can participate – and benefit – with simply a piece of paper and a pencil. However, it’s recommended that you also have colored pencils, markers, and paint. If you are looking to purchase your own supplies, I have a list of my favorites here: DickBlick.com. You can also visit our Shop for curated project kits.
